Clear out dead stock and make it easy for your customer to find the “Good Stuff”

Some retailers have so much merchandise in their cases, the nicer pieces get lost in all the clutter. Remove all the inventory you’ve had in the case for over a year (or at most 18mos) and make it easy on your customers to find something they really like. They aren’t going to buy that stuff or they already would have. They will thank you with their purchases of popular, current, saleable stock. Bring out the “old stuff” if they ask to see more.  Studies show, people give up after looking at about 20-30 pieces. Don’t waste your “shots” on old stock. You’ll sell more by showing less.
